Photography
Unfortunately, my photography is rather limited at present, though my interest in it is very large. I hope to one day get another page up that has all of my photographs on it soon.

Commissions
Yes, I do Commissions.
Email me at risawn@yahoo.com.
Be advised that because I'm a deployed soldier,
my media is currently limited to illustration type items,
graphite, and what I can do on the computer. |

| Art is one of the few things that I really enjoy, and although I am by no means a great artist that will be remembered through the passages of time, I still would like to consider myself an artist of sorts. And my body of work has evolved over the course of my twenty-some-odd years. While I attended the local community college, I took some art courses to develop my style a little bit and gain a body of work, and managed to acquire an Associates of Fine Arts degree that I will likely never use. Whether this was worth my time or not is highly up to debate. Regardless, my work encompasses several ranges of style. They are seperated by genres, of sorts. Sort of. |
|
Early Stuff
My range of early stuff. Ranging from kiddie years to about fourteen I say. It's on here for laughs, and mostly just to compare with later works to see progress.
|
|
Sketches
Nothing spectacular, mostly boredom really. Sketchity pieces that are worth looking at (and some that probably aren't). A lot of these are part of assignments, my own boredom, nothing that would really be considered finished.
|
|
Drawings
Pieces done in pencil, ink or scratchboard. That I would consider to actually be 'finished', or enough to appease some teacher's assignment.
Some of them are fantasy oriented, and many people in the art world do not consider fantasy to be art, so those can be considered 'illustrations' to
appease those of you who think in that manner.

Nudes
Nudes are along the same lines as the drawing category, except I add a disclaimer. They are Nude. Yes, these are my drawings from my figure drawing class. I really like how some of them turned out, however the faces always appear to be the weakness.

|
Prints
I took the class for the credit, but I soon discovered that I liked printmaking. More then I thought I would. The pieces are definitely more artistic and abstract then some of my other works, but I don't know, I really liked how most of these came out. Screen Printing would have been more fun if I hadn't rushed myself through the process more then I did (and therefore, came out with some really shoddy pieces of works)

Paintings
Acrylic, watercolor, or Oils. I've dabbled in all of them. I love to paint, as it has become probably my favorite media. Just so darned expensive and requires more space then I have available unfortunately.

3-D
Ok, I'm not much of a 3-D artist. I have this strange desire to do more art in 3D, but along the lines ceramics (or I'd rather call it pottery). Throwing on the wheel is a past time I highly enjoy, very soothing when stress weighs down on one's soul. However, my talent does not lie here. Because my craftsmanship sucks.

Misc
This is the miscellanious pieces that are still classified to some sense or degree as Art that doesn't fit into the above categories.

Illustration
This is largely classified as Illustration (not considered by the fine arts world as 'art').
My body of work here is growing and probably borderline classified as CGI, in that it is sketches colored on the computer in Photoshop,
one of my latest endeavors, mostly because all it requires is a sketchbook and a computer, and most of the other stuff I prefer doing requires
more space then I have available.
This area is certainly not my strength. I'm just working at becoming better because I really do enjoy illustration. Note a lot of the images shown are
anthropormorhpic, (animals with human characteristics) as I've been involved in a lot of art exchanges recently that are anthro in nature.
Newer art is at the top, older toward the bottom. If it doesn't have a link, it doesn't have a page yet! Red bordered art is not exactly work safe.

All art located on this page is mine and I am very protective of it, no matter how bad it might be.
I do ask that it is not taken without my permission.
