Foot Pot

Ceramic - 2001 This particular pot is not extremely artistically pleasing. In fact, it's rather thick and heavy for a pot. And I ruined the design by carving something like 'feet' into the side of it. I kick myself now for doing such a thing. In fact, if I were to do this pot over again, I would have left it alone and fired it pretty much right off the wheel. This pot was thrown using only my feet. And what a splendid sensation it was too. And here is the page detailing the labors to produce such an item. Labels: pottery

What a fantactic piece! I love the concept of throwing with your feet. Do you have a video of the process? It would make for a trerrific instructional tool.
