Money Rules the World

![]() Paper Mosaic - 2003 In my Mixed Media class, one of the projects was a mosaic. Most people decided to do a Mosaic in the traditional sense. I wasn't that smart. I have a fascination for foreign money, and for this project, I decided I would combine the two. So I photocopied foreign money with my scanner, printed it out, cut it up, and pasted it to a map of the world. It was extremely time consuming. And it took me forever. Unfortunately, unless I find a way to preserve it, I fear that this project will eventually fall apart, which is a shame, becuase the final results were very pleasing to me. Unfortunately, the picture doesn't do it justice. Labels: misc | ||
