Woodcut Print - 2003
The inspiration to this was Suriname. Surinamese money has birds on it and one of the bills has this parrot. So I used that to come up with the design because I couldn't think of anything else honestly. My first woodcut, so its a bit rough, and gave me much blisters. Still, i like how it turned out.

interesting to find out you are an artist so am I conserative artists are a bit scarce and that you use money in your art is something else i do
