Illucian

![]() This is a bit different then previous artwork, I have this one double listed as both drawing and illustration in the Gift Art column, mostly because I took the time to actually do a decent drawing of the bird realistically, but I also drew an illustration. I'm not sure how well the pencil sketch came out, I think the feathers of the wing conflict with the crest of the Cockatoo but otherwise I think it turned out ok. ![]() The illustration I mostly focused on the head, as that was what was going to be in the icon, but I felt like drawing out the whole body as well, though I didn't go into much detail in the hindquarters. Illucian is a Gryphatoo, a gryphon with Cockatoo forequarters and snowleopard hindquarters. This was for an icon I volunteered to do for her. SPECIES: Gryphatoo (Umbrella Cockatoo/Clouded Leopard gryphon) ![]() Labels: IconXchange | ||
