Ali's Birthday Bash

This is a portion of the full piece (click to view) as it is rather large. This is Magic and Snow, involved in a birthday bash for Ali the unicorn. This was done as gift art for everybody involved in March's EquineXchange by Blue Snowangel, even though it was HER birthday. I actually submitted several characters that month, and she decided to do both Magic and Snow. I likes muchly :)

Ironically enough, I got Blue Snowangel for my exchange this month, so I did my own interpretation of Ali.

Magic by DaughterofTwilight

This was done for the Equine Exchange on LJ, it's Magic, looking rather huggable if I might say so myself.

This was done by DaughterofTwilight, who I've gotten art from as SpiketheGoddess in the past.

'Autumn Void' by Defilerwyrm

This was art through EquineXchange, by the most talented Defilerwyrm.

She went with the whole Autumn theme and believe it or not, she initially forgot the wings.

I can just sit here and gawk.

Creature FanArt by Luna

Here are a couple of sketches from a fan of my webcomic that I recieved. The artist is still working on their skill level and said that they just felt like doodling and decided to send the art my way. They didn't scan great, and I did what I could in Photoshop to bring the art forth. Unfortunately, they have both pixelated.

The first is Magic and Splash, in an attempt to make Magic more compassionate.

The second is a couple of sketches of Magic, where the artist drew what they saw. This picture is taken from the Magic series of Magic wandering around in misery looking over a cliff before jumping.

I do not mind that this was done at all. I'm flattered that somebody would use my artwork in a way to better themselves.

Magic by EbonePona

This was done by the amazingly talented Ebonepona of Magic. She's to hard on herself but I have to say it's fantastic. She just has a wonderful feel for equines.

I also got lineart from her before she colored this as well. I have to learn how to do this.

Magic by Stormphyre

Done in the MythicArtXchange2 by Stormphyre, my character Magic. They were worried that they took a little to much artistic license, but I think it looks great. That's half of the reason I sign up for these things, to see what other people come up with.

Magic by Dimruthien

FAX entry from Dimruthien. Done with colored pencil, she said she took some artistic license with the red, to conserve the black pencil, but I personally think it works for his character. Its another Hybrid picture between Magic's Pre and Post Curse phase. Very well done.

This is a drawing I did previously for Dimruthien.

Magic Diving by Emessis

Done for FAX by Emessis. Its Magic, in flight, diving after. . . something.

This must be in snow vision©.

Magic and Snow by Kittenchan

Magic and Snow, in a moment usually shared between the two of them. Snow pestering Magic, asking him pointless questions, I think he's attempting to run from her.

Let's see how successful he is, eh?

This was done by Kittenchan, for FAX though apparently she had some scanner troubles converting it to digital. It washed out all of the shading. Pity. I would love to see it in life.

Swoon by Bubblerat

< "Here is another drawing for this round that i whipped up, this time of Magic and Splash, i dont know if its correct to the comic, but i thought it a good idea at the time!!"

BubbleRat went above and beyond and not just produced one, but Two drawings for the Fur Art Xchange community. She made Splash going gaga over Magic.

While I admit, that likely wouldn't happen in the comic, Splash does feel particularly close to Magic and he does have a certain infatuation with her. So I could imagine him dreaming this up.

I love it anyway :)

Jungle Gym by Tiku

"Seems that despite Magic's death glare, Snow seems intent upon using him as a jungle gym."

FAX entry for Tiku, who, by the way, won the round (see an entry from me of her character in the not to distant future). She did this with Copic Markers, and I'm tempted to get some myself to try out.

I've been in a major art mood lately. . .

Magic by Lachlankersyva

Some character reference type pictures of Magic for FAX done by Lachlankersyva. It looks like one of the mid transformation pics, kind of a hybrid between his pre and post curse phases.

I thought the sketches were friggen' awesome!

Magic and Snow by Bubblerat

"here is my entry for this round, magic and snow galloping along, with magic being battered by questions from snow!!!

"iv been reading the archives, really like this comic risawn!!! i may get round to drawing Splash too, just cos i love drawing horses!!"

This was drawn for me by Bubblerat for the FurartXchange LiveJournal Community. I was chosen for two weeks in the month of July and recieved this in return.

Its Magic, being pestered by endless questions from his petite companion Snow.
