Wow, a Milestone!

Just noticed, I have gone a full month of updating *fairly* regularly, only missing two days in the scheme of things.

That is GOOD for me considering my track record for the last two years or so. This new way of creating comics is working pretty well, illustration is not as detailed, but it's easier to color and update. Yay!

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get a buffer like I have wanted to, so my updating might go down to maybe once a week instead of two to three times, if that (my job IRL is quite grueling when I'm 'in cycle', but I hope to at least have this world done and updating in the next few weeks. After March, it's definitely on an 'as I can do it' basis.

Hope everyone is enjoying the world so far, Open Season references aside. This world makes me giggle.

ALso, as a side note, I've returned the Guestbook, which I removed a while back. Feel free to sign it if you want. It's over on the sidebar there.

UPDATE - I finally figured out Twitter, thought it would be useful for helping keep people updated on new comics (and perhaps get the word out that this comic is here). Follow me for updates, and in case I go into a lull for a couple weeks, I can let people know when I'm updating again. Plus, random stuffs.

Donations

I just wanted to point out, I added a Donate Button to the side there. I wanted to add to that Button's purpose.

1. I do not see this comic as a source of revenue. This has always been, first and foremost a hobby of mine. If I was doing this comic to make money, I would have stopped updating a long time ago. So I won't stop updating now if nobody donates money.

2. If you like my comic, you can tell me by donating how ever much you feel the comic is worth to you. I understand economic times are tough, so if you donate whatever you feel, I appreciate it.

3. Donating money to the comic's cause is not a guarantee that I will keep updating the comic, however it is a good way to guilt trip me into updating the comic more frequently. I feel bad when I know I'm providing a service some people are giving me money to show their appreciation for.

4. If you can't afford to donate money, leaving a comment on the forums, in the comments below or on the shout box next door works too. Or you can email me at risawn AT yahoo DOT com telling me how much you like the comic. The more feedback I receive, the more incentive I get to update.

Er, that is all.

Squirrels!

I think I have a fascination with Blood.

I had this current world in my head for a while now, and I scripted it out a few years back. In fact, I had this crazy notion to actually animate it, and if any world lends itself to animation, this world does. But alas, I have never gotten to doing it, because that would require more work then I want to put forth. Or I'm just not that ambitious. This comic is ambitious enough as it is. I'm just glad I'm updating semi-regularly.

If anybody sees a similarity between a really crappy computer animated movie that came out a few years back, I wrote the script for this comic before that movie came out, and winced when I noticed some similarities. Then again, I was expecting to do this comic a few years back. I'm going ahead and doing it, because you might notice that the similarities end after the first couple comics. I hope.

As you can see, I've been working on a M-W-F update, whether this continues or not depends on me being able to update regularly.

Please visit the forum and leave me feedback. Because Feedback keeps me motivated *hint hint, nudge nudge* If I don't comment, don't take it personally, because I have a tendency to divulge information that relate to spoilers and that takes away from the comic. But I read every comment that comes through here.
