I found a problem with my poor neglected Milblog. Well, actually it's a problem I've known about for some time.

The comments made here are not permanent. They get deleted after about a year or so, and then they disappear off into oblivion with Haloscan.

I wish there was a way to transfer the comments to the Blogger Server. I use an upgraded account for my other blog and therefor it saves all of the blog posts there, but this one is just temporary. *sighs*

Well, if you have made a post to my comments in the recent past, my apologies that it is not there now. I'm switching over to Blogger for comments with all of my blogs EXCEPT incoherant ramblings. One day I will have to figure out a way to export all of my comments from one to the other.

EDIT - So I've tried to get the new blog comments up. They aren't as pretty as Haloscan, but I guess they'll do. . . they'd look better if I used a default blogger template which are made for them. I'm hoping they last a little longer then a year. I mean, I've got archives on my blog from six years ago, I would think they would keep the comments around this time, wouldn't they?

laughingzombie said...: Not perhaps the sexiest, hitech thing on this Earth, but you could highlight, then copy your favorite comments to a more permanent location. I know, seems like a pain in the buttski, but if there are priceless comments you don't want to lose, might be worth it...
