Smile!

One place where we differ vastly is our smiles. I hate my smile, it's as crooked as a question mark,
and when I smile I don't show nearly as many teeth.
However, our mouths are surprisingly the same.
When neither of us smile.
I think this is one of the only places where we show any similarity.
Reese has this slight smile, where only the corners of her mouth is turned upward.
That's kind of what my smile is like.
A little. That smirk.
Chin?
Ok, the shape of our faces differ. A lot.
Reese has a heart shaped face with a very pronounced chin.
My face is round with kind of a square jaw.
Yet people still think we look alike.
I do not have Reese's chin. I don't think anybody has Reese's chin.
Eyes
I don't know what you think, but I do not have Reese Witherspoon's eyes.
She has almond shape eyes that kind of curve upward underneath when she's relaxed.
I have a sleepy eye, I don't know what my eyes do.
I guess we have the same eyes when we're both squinting.
Cheekbones
Alright, I concede. We both have high cheekbones.
Nose
I have never really tried to compare noses.
Noses are just something you leave alone.
Hair
Alright. We're both blonde. That's about it.
My hair is so thin and just blah! We do not have the same hair.
However, when I recently cut my hair, I didn't do it to look like Reese,
I did it because my hair needed a serious hacking.
Profiles
Alright, this is one you got me on. Me and Reese have very similar profiles.
Although I don't see very many pictures of her in profile.
Most pictures I have found are head on.
Facial Expresions
Come to think of it, this is one of those places where I do somewhat resemble Reese.
We make some similar facial expressions. Depending on the facial expression.
Now that one in Cruel Intentions, you got me. --->
However, I think I got a couple that she can't do!
Personalities
Hah! Complete Opposites! If I was an actress, well, i wouldn't be an actress because I wouldn't
do ninety percent of the roles thrown in my direction! The only character Reese has ever played
that is anything remotely like me is her early roles. Also, she's often described herself as a
girly girl. And she knows how to dress.
I'm t-shirt and jeans. Always have been, always will be.
The Weight and Age Issue
Alright, nobody really likes to think about it, but everyone changes as we grow older. When
Reese was doing Man in the Moon, I looked a lot like her. I don't look like her in Legally
Blonde. I think this also has to do a lot with her weight, as Reese is kind of a skinny little
toothpick right now, and I'm just me. The Army keeps telling me I'm fat but I ignore them
(because I'm not fat). In other words, I carry more weight in my face then Reese, and hence I
don't really look like her. That's probably because I'm in the Army.
And we're four years apart in age. That makes a difference. Although we both can seemingly pass
for younger.
In Conclusion
Actually, I've never gotten a Reese Witherspoon Comment at a theater during one of her movies. It's always in
retrospect. I think when somebody sees me and a picture of her at the same time, they don't make the
connection.
Ok, I have come to notice that most people make a comparison when I'm at work. And I'm wearing makeup.
I rarely wear makeup and when I don't, I don't get the comments. (Except for that once, with
that Drill Sergeant in Ft Sam. I don't know where that one came from!)
So, I only really look like Reese when I wear make-up, she wears very little, when hair is pulled
back, expressions are serious and we're squinting. I don't think this qualifies me for looking
like Reese Witherspoon. I guess from a distance we might look somewhat alike. I know I don't
get any Alicia Silverstone remarks.
And I know that I sure in hell don't sound like her!
